Getting around Fort Smith
Fort Smith sits on the Arkansas River along I-40, with Oklahoma a few miles west. Downtown runs along Garrison Avenue, with the Fort Smith National Historic Site at 301 Parker Avenue, the U.S. Marshals Museum at 789 Riverfront Drive and the Convention Center at 55 South 7th Street all within a few minutes of each other. The airport, Fort Smith Regional (FSM), is about 5 miles and 9 minutes from downtown; Northwest Arkansas National (XNA) is 75 miles north.
Two things shape a Fort Smith booking. The first is distance: Fayetteville, Tulsa, Little Rock and Oklahoma City are all day-trip range, so many rides here are longer transfers. The second is the calendar: the Steel Horse Rally in early May, the Old Fort Days Rodeo in late May, Razorback Saturdays in the fall and the Arkansas-Oklahoma State Fair at the turn of October fill the hotels and the roads.
Airport car service and transfers from Fort Smith
Fort Smith Regional has one airline, American Eagle to Dallas, and publishes no limousine zone, so the chauffeur parks in the lot a few feet north of the terminal and meets you inside. For XNA (about 1 hour 23), Tulsa (1 hour 54), Little Rock (2 hours 26) and Oklahoma City (just under 3 hours), we quote a single trip in a sedan, SUV or Sprinter.
Weddings, game days and executive travel in Fort Smith
Wedding cars. A sedan or SUV for the couple and a Sprinter for the wedding party, between a downtown church, a riverfront reception and the hotels.
Razorback and event charters. Fayetteville is 57 miles; an hourly charter covers the drop-off near the stadium, the wait and the ride home. The same format works for concerts at the Riverfront Amphitheater and conferences at the Convention Center, which has a front drive loop for drop-offs.
Executive and military travel. Sedans between FSM or XNA and the hotels, the Ebbing Air National Guard Base gate, or offices in Fort Smith and Van Buren, with the return leg booked at the same time.
Casinos and wine country. Cherokee Casino Roland and Choctaw Casino Pocola are 12 and 20 minutes away; Altus wine country is 48 minutes east on I-40.
Vehicles available through our Fort Smith partners
Executive sedans (up to 3 passengers), luxury SUVs (up to 5), Mercedes Sprinter vans (up to 14), party buses and stretch limousines sized to your group, and mini coaches and motorcoaches (27 to 56) for commencement weekends, game days or corporate groups. Exact capacity is confirmed in your quote, because partner vehicles vary.

My wife and I worked with Igor and Limo SF VIP for our wedding. They did an absolutely amazing job. They provided both a luxury sprinter van to carry the bridal party and groomsmen to a first look sight at the busy palace of fine arts and then to the venue and provided luxury ~50-person bus for guests to leave venue. All of the drivers were responsive, and kind. At the end of the night the bus driver even spent an extra ~30 minutes driving the late-night party crew to several different bars after some we intended to go were closed. Overall, 6/5 service. Their prices are fair, and the team is wonderful to work with. I'd highly recommend Limo SF VIP to anyone looking for coach, private limo, or large party needs.Posted on Google![]()

Excellent service! As I was boarding my flight on my way to SFO I was able to book and confirm the service last minute, so quickly. Our driver waited for us by baggage claim and helped us out with our numerous bags. The car was also fabulous! Arriving to SF in style!Posted on Google![]()

Fort Smith limo service questions
In the parking lot just north of the terminal, and your quote says where to meet. FSM is a small airport with one airline (American Eagle to Dallas), and it publishes no separate limousine zone. The lot sits a few feet north of the passenger terminal and the first 30 minutes are free, so the chauffeur parks there rather than circling the curb. Send your flight number when you book so the car moves with the real arrival; the airport is only about 5 miles and 9 minutes from downtown.
FSM if the connection through Dallas works for you; otherwise XNA, which has far more flights but sits about 75 miles and an hour and 23 minutes to the north. Tulsa is 118 miles (about 1 hour 54), Little Rock about 157 miles (2 hours 26) and Oklahoma City about 183 miles (just under 3 hours). We arrange all of those as a single-trip transfer in a sedan, SUV or Sprinter, quoted per trip rather than by the hour.
Yes. Razorback Stadium is 57 miles from Fort Smith, about 55 minutes on a normal day and longer when 76,000 people are heading the same way. Book it as an hourly charter: the chauffeur drops you near the stadium on North Razorback Road, waits, and has the vehicle ready when the game ends. The remaining 2026 home dates are October 10 (Tennessee), October 31, November 14 and November 28 (LSU).
Yes, and it’s a short ride from anywhere downtown. The visitor center at 301 Parker Avenue sits in the former barracks, courthouse and jail, and the site tells nearly 80 years of frontier history, from 1817 to 1896, including Judge Isaac C. Parker’s court and the gallows where 86 men were hanged. The visitor center keeps 9 am to 5 pm hours and closes on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. A Sprinter or SUV with a set pickup time lets the group tour at its own pace.
Plan the pickup a few blocks off Garrison Avenue. The 2027 Steel Horse Rally is set for May 7 and 8; motorcycles park down the middle of Garrison from Friday evening, and the parade rolls out of Riverfront Park at 4 pm on the Saturday. The Peacemaker Festival fills the Riverfront Amphitheater at 121 Riverfront Drive each October; dates are posted by the festival. We confirm the exact corner with you on the quote for those dates.
Yes. The center at 55 South 7th Street has a front drive loop for ride drop-offs, so the chauffeur can pull in, let your group out at the doors and move on. For a conference or gala there, book an hourly charter if you want the same vehicle waiting at the end of the night, or two point-to-point rides if the times are fixed.
A little. The University of Arkansas–Fort Smith holds three ceremonies on one Saturday in May; in 2026 they ran at 10 am, 1 pm and 4 pm on May 16 for about 650 degrees, so the streets around the Stubblefield Center stay busy from mid-morning to early evening. We set the pickup a block or two away and put the corner on your quote. Pairing an FSM or XNA transfer with a dinner ride that night makes sense for families flying in; fall move-in is a mid-August Friday morning.
Yes. The F-35 training center at Ebbing brings pilots, maintainers and families from Finland, Poland, Germany, Singapore and Switzerland through Fort Smith, and the base sits inside the Fort Smith Regional Airport boundary. Give us the gate or address your sponsor provides; base entry rules are set by the base, so have your visitor paperwork with you. Airport-to-base and hotel-to-base runs are quoted as single trips.
Yes, as a full-day hourly charter. Mount Magazine, at 16878 AR-309 near Paris, is Arkansas’ highest point at 2,753 feet, with scenic overlooks, hiking trails and a hang-gliding launch. The Lodge at Mount Magazine has 60 rooms and the Skycrest Restaurant, which seats up to 125, so a lunch stop is easy to plan. For a bigger party, the 14-passenger Sprinter puts everyone in one vehicle; send us the overlooks and the lunch time you want, and the running order goes on your quote.
Ice is the real winter risk here: in February 2022 a storm closed I-40 in both directions near Roland, and in January 2023 the National Guard was running Humvees for state police in Fort Smith. When ice is in the forecast we call ahead and propose moving the pickup earlier or to another time; whether a road is safe is the chauffeur’s call on the day, and the weather and cancellation terms for your booking are printed on the quote.
In Arkansas, for-hire passenger carriers operating inside the state need intrastate authority from the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT), granted after a hearing before the State Highway Commission and proof of insurance on an ACORD certificate. Rides we arrange in Fort Smith are run by local partner operators. To see whether a given carrier has that authority, check with ARDOT.
The big-event dates. The Steel Horse Rally opens May, the Old Fort Days Rodeo follows at Kay Rodgers Park in the last week of May, and the Arkansas-Oklahoma State Fair runs at the same park from late September into the first days of October. Add Razorback home Saturdays and UAFS commencement in mid-May, and those are the dates to book weeks ahead for a Sprinter or stretch limousine.
