Limo SF VIP runs black car service in San Francisco and around the Bay Area: an executive sedan or a luxury SUV with a chauffeur, booked ahead for airport runs, corporate days, hourly work and nights out. Our own chauffeurs drive every Bay Area trip, and we've been at it since 2013. Need a private driver in San Francisco for one ride or a whole day? Send the pickup, the time and how many are riding. A quote usually comes back in 15 to 30 minutes, or call (888) 888-0195.
What a black car is, and how it differs from a rideshare
A black car is a chauffeured sedan or SUV that you reserve before the trip. Nobody hails it, and the price is quoted before you ride. The chauffeur knows your name, your flight or meeting, and where you're going next.
The difference shows up at the airport. At SFO's domestic terminals, standard Uber and Lyft cars collect passengers on Level 5 of the Domestic Garage. A booked limousine loads at the terminal curb instead, and our chauffeur meets you inside and helps with the bags. California also licenses the two differently: a prearranged chauffeured car runs under a CPUC charter-party permit, and our footer lists ours, TCP-32683.
Black car SFO, OAK and SJC: pick the airport by where you're headed
- SFO: the car waits at the published limousine zones (the White Zone at Terminals 1 to 3, the Level 2 center island Yellow Zone at the International Terminal). Moscone Center is 13.7 miles away, about 15 minutes with no traffic.
- Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport (OAK): handy for the East Bay. Downtown San Francisco is roughly 20 miles over the Bay Bridge, which collects its toll westbound, into the city.
- San José Mineta (SJC): the short hop for Silicon Valley. Apple Park is 5.8 miles from the terminals and the Googleplex 11.3.
Every airport pickup includes 40 minutes of free waiting from the official posted arrival time.
Corporate car service in San Francisco: the Financial District, Moscone and the Peninsula
Financial District pickups run between Montgomery Street and the Embarcadero, and plenty of meetings then head south of Market. The Moscone Center sits at Third and Howard in SoMa, and Moscone West is a block over at Fourth and Howard. Moscone has no parking of its own, so a car that drops you at the right corner and comes back at a set time saves a lot of circling. SEMICON West and TechCrunch Disrupt both run there October 13 to 15, 2026, and Dreamforce returns September 21 to 23, 2027.
A roadshow day works the same way: one sedan from a breakfast in the Financial District to meetings in Palo Alto or Mountain View, then back to SFO for the evening flight. Extra stops are added to the fare, and the full plan is priced in the quote.
Hourly as-directed: a private driver for the day
Some days don't fit a fixed schedule. Book the car by the hour and it stays with you, parked nearby, until the last stop. Each vehicle has an hourly minimum, and your quote spells it out. It suits investor meetings with soft end times, a client visit that might run into dinner, or a Napa day; Napa is about 57 miles from SFO.
Nights out, games and events
Chase Center, at 1 Warriors Way in Mission Bay, seats 18,064 for Warriors and Valkyries games. Book the car for the evening, settle where the chauffeur will meet you when you’re dropped off, and walk out to it after the final buzzer. Further south, Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara is about 40 miles from San Francisco, and the 49ers play home games there through January 3, 2027. For an anniversary dinner or a show, a point-to-point ride each way usually does the job.
Executive black sedans and SUVs
- Executive sedan: Mercedes-Benz E300, up to 3 passengers and 2 bags.
- Premium sedan: Mercedes S550 or BMW 750i, up to 3 passengers and 2 bags.
- Luxury SUV: Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator or GMC Yukon, up to 5 passengers and 5 bags.
Riding with more than five? A Mercedes Sprinter seats up to 14. Capacity is confirmed in your quote.
Got a flight, a meeting or a game on the calendar? Call (888) 888-0195 or send the quote form with the date, the pickup address and the number of passengers, and a price usually comes back in 15 to 30 minutes.

Limo SF vip I highly recommend itPosted on Google Benjamin RudinskiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My wife and I worked with Igor and Limo SF VIP for our wedding. They did an absolutely amazing job. They provided both a luxury sprinter van to carry the bridal party and groomsmen to a first look sight at the busy palace of fine arts and then to the venue and provided luxury ~50-person bus for guests to leave venue. All of the drivers were responsive, and kind. At the end of the night the bus driver even spent an extra ~30 minutes driving the late-night party crew to several different bars after some we intended to go were closed. Overall, 6/5 service. Their prices are fair, and the team is wonderful to work with. I'd highly recommend Limo SF VIP to anyone looking for coach, private limo, or large party needs.Posted on Google Viviana MárquezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service! As I was boarding my flight on my way to SFO I was able to book and confirm the service last minute, so quickly. Our driver waited for us by baggage claim and helped us out with our numerous bags. The car was also fabulous! Black car service in San Francisco: your questions
A black car service is a chauffeured sedan or SUV booked in advance, priced before the trip and driven by a professional chauffeur, not a car you flag down or summon from an app queue. In California these cars run as charter-party carriers under the CPUC, which is why an operator should be able to show a TCP number. At Limo SF VIP that means a Mercedes E300 or S550, a BMW 750i, or an Escalade, Navigator or Yukon when you need more room.
It depends on four things: the vehicle you pick (an E300, an S550 or an SUV), the time you need it, the distance, and the day. Hourly bookings carry the vehicle's hourly minimum, while a transfer such as SFO to a Union Square hotel is priced as one trip. Extra stops are added to the fare, and a 20% gratuity is itemized on the bill. Send the details and you'll have an exact quote in 15 to 30 minutes.
The best one for you is the one that passes a few simple checks. Look for a CPUC charter-party number (ours, TCP-32683, sits in our site footer), a written quote before the ride, and a gratuity line you can see rather than a surprise. Ask who actually drives: in the Bay Area our own chauffeurs do, not subcontracted app drivers. Then read reviews on more than one site. Limo SF VIP is rated A+ by the BBB and holds a 4.9-star average across review platforms.
Often, yes, if your meetings are near those airports. SJC puts Apple Park 5.8 miles away and the Googleplex 11.3, and the chauffeured car loads outside baggage claim at Hourly Lot 2 for Terminal A or Hourly Lot 5 for Terminal B. At Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport, drivers on a prearranged booking may meet you in the designated Baggage Claim area with a name sign. Downtown San Francisco is about 20 miles from OAK over the Bay Bridge. Ask in your quote how tolls are shown.
You book the car and chauffeur for a block of hours, and the car follows your plan instead of a fixed route. Each vehicle has an hourly minimum, shown in your quote, so plan around that. Add stops as the day changes: a lunch in Hayes Valley, a second meeting in South Park, a pickup at the Ferry Building. Tell us roughly where the day goes when you book, so the quote covers the right hours. If it might run long, say so when you book.
Yes, that's one of the reasons people book an executive sedan rather than a taxi. The rear seat of an E300, an S550, a BMW 750i or a luxury SUV is a calm place to read, call and type. The ride from the Financial District down US-101 to Palo Alto is long enough to clear an inbox, and the chauffeur handles the route. Most of our vehicles have Wi-Fi; ask in your quote if you need it. If you need the car quiet for a call, say so at pickup.
Book the SUV. Our sedans seat three but list room for only two bags, so three roller cases plus laptop bags won't fit comfortably. The Escalade, Navigator and Yukon each take up to five passengers and five bags. For two travelers with carry-ons, the E300 or S550 is plenty. If the group grows past five, a Sprinter takes up to 14 with as many bags. Tell us the bag count when you book and we'll match the car.
Use the street address of the hall you're going to. The Moscone Center's main address is 747 Howard Street, at the corner of Third and Howard, while Moscone West is at 800 Howard, on the corner of Fourth. There's no on-site parking at Moscone, so plan on a drop-off and a set return time rather than having the car park. If your session ends late, just move the return time with the chauffeur.
Yes. Book it as an evening, either hourly or as two point-to-point rides. Chase Center is at 1 Warriors Way in Mission Bay and seats 18,064 for basketball, so a lot of people leave at the same moment. Agree with your chauffeur where you'll meet when you're dropped off, then walk to that spot after the game. A group of up to five fits an SUV. For a bigger party, a Sprinter keeps everyone together.
As soon as your hotel is confirmed. We can't promise a car will be free on the busiest days, but asking early costs nothing, since quotes take 15 to 30 minutes. Upcoming dates to plan around: SEMICON West and TechCrunch Disrupt both run at Moscone October 13 to 15, 2026, and Dreamforce returns September 21 to 23, 2027. For a team, an hourly car or a Sprinter shuttling between hotel and hall often works better than separate rides.
Yes. A sedan picks you up near Montgomery Street, waits through the morning meetings, runs down to Palo Alto or Mountain View, and drops you at SFO in time for check-in. Book it hourly or as a list of stops; extra stops are added to the fare. Send us the meeting addresses and flight time, and the quote will show the whole day in one price.
Yes. Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara is about 40 miles south of San Francisco, and the 49ers have home games there through January 3, 2027. An SUV carries up to five fans; a Sprinter takes up to 14. Book it as an evening so the chauffeur is there for the drive home. Coming in by air? SJC is just 5.5 miles from the stadium.
