Limo SF VIP books chauffeur service and limo service in Yuma, AZ for people who land at Yuma International, drive in from Phoenix or San Diego, or come to town for work at MCAS Yuma and Yuma Proving Ground. Think VIP transportation for a test team or a sedan for a winter visitor's airport day. A vetted local partner operator drives every Yuma trip, and we take care of booking and support. Give us the date, pickup and passenger count for a written quote in 15 to 30 minutes.
Getting around Yuma
Yuma sits on the Colorado River in Arizona's southwest corner, with California across the water and Mexico to the south. Interstate 8 runs through town: east toward Gila Bend and the AZ-85 link to Phoenix, west over the river and across the Imperial Sand Dunes toward San Diego. The airfield is 3.5 miles south of downtown, and Yuma Proving Ground is about 38 road miles north, out US-95 to Imperial Dam Road.
One local quirk catches visitors. Arizona stays on Mountain Standard Time all year, so from November to mid-March Yuma runs an hour ahead of San Diego, and in summer the two clocks agree. A flight time out of San Diego gets converted before the pickup hour goes on your quote.
Yuma airport shuttle and long-distance transfers
Yuma International (YUM), on 32nd Street, shares its runways with the Marine air station and has American Eagle flights to Phoenix and Dallas/Fort Worth. The airport publishes no limousine pickup point, so the chauffeur parks and meets you inside the terminal. When a fare out of YUM doesn't work, the alternatives are Phoenix Sky Harbor, about 191 miles away, or San Diego International, roughly 176 miles over the Mountain Springs grade. A private Yuma shuttle service to either airport is priced as one trip, and hourly charters carry a vehicle minimum.
Base visits, college days and weddings in Yuma
Proving Ground and base travel. YPG's Visitor Control Center sits in Building 2020 off Imperial Dam Road and runs Monday through Thursday, so clear a Friday first visit with your host. The chauffeur can wait while you get your pass; post security decides who goes past Walker Gate.
Lettuce season business. From November to March, Yuma County supplies about 90 percent of the leafy greens grown in the US. For an ag-business visit, an hourly sedan can cover the airport, your hotel and field offices.
Arizona Western College. Fall commencement is Friday, December 4, 2026 at 2 p.m. in the outdoor amphitheater at 2020 South Avenue 8 E, and the spring ceremony is set for May 7, 2027.
Weddings and history stops. The Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park on Prison Hill Road lists weddings among its group options. A wedding limo service for the couple and a Sprinter for the family keep the day on one schedule.

My wife and I worked with Igor and Limo SF VIP for our wedding. They did an absolutely amazing job. They provided both a luxury sprinter van to carry the bridal party and groomsmen to a first look sight at the busy palace of fine arts and then to the venue and provided luxury ~50-person bus for guests to leave venue. All of the drivers were responsive, and kind. At the end of the night the bus driver even spent an extra ~30 minutes driving the late-night party crew to several different bars after some we intended to go were closed. Overall, 6/5 service. Their prices are fair, and the team is wonderful to work with. I'd highly recommend Limo SF VIP to anyone looking for coach, private limo, or large party needs.Posted on Google![]()

Excellent service! As I was boarding my flight on my way to SFO I was able to book and confirm the service last minute, so quickly. Our driver waited for us by baggage claim and helped us out with our numerous bags. The car was also fabulous! Arriving to SF in style!Posted on Google![]()

Yuma chauffeur and limo service questions
At the spot Yuma International allows for prearranged cars, which we give you before you fly. YUM, at 2191 East 32nd Street, doesn’t post a spot for booked cars, so your confirmation names the exact place. A late connection out of Sky Harbor or DFW is covered too: the first 40 minutes after the flight’s official posted arrival cost nothing extra. With your flight number on the booking, the pickup is tied to when the plane really lands, not the timetable.
Either works, and yes, the clock matters for San Diego. San Diego International is about 176 miles and just under three hours west on I-8; Phoenix Sky Harbor is about 191 miles and a bit over three hours east by way of Gila Bend. Arizona keeps Mountain Standard Time all year, so from November to mid-March Yuma is an hour ahead of San Diego. We write the pickup in Yuma time on the quote, worked back from your California departure, so nobody misreads it.
It can get you to the door, but check your pass plan first. YPG's Visitor Control Center, in Building 2020 off Imperial Dam Road, does background checks Monday through Thursday only, and the check usually takes no more than 15 minutes. Bring a REAL ID compliant license. From Yuma it's about 38 road miles north on US-95, turning left at the big guns. The chauffeur waits while you are processed, then drives to Walker Gate or Howard Gate; post security decides whether the car itself may enter.
Yes, as long as the park's hours are in the plan. Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park, at 220 North Prison Hill Road, lists weddings among its group options, and from October through May it's open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The couple can ride in a sedan or SUV while relatives follow in a Sprinter seating up to 14, both timed to pull in together. Call the park at (928) 783-4771 to book the space, then send us its time slot and the reception address.
Plan around an outdoor ceremony on a Friday afternoon. AWC's fall commencement starts at 2 p.m. in the amphitheater on the Yuma campus, 2020 South Avenue 8 E, and graduates are asked to arrive at 12:45 or 1 p.m. One booking can collect relatives at Yuma International that morning, drop the graduate early, bring everyone else closer to two, and wait for the dinner run. The spring 2027 ceremony is set for May 7, 2027.
A sedan or SUV booked by the hour, which stays with you from field to field. From November through March, Yuma County supplies roughly 90 percent of the leafy vegetables grown in the US, and the farms and offices on a grower tour can sit miles apart. The chauffeur waits between stops, and the hourly minimum is printed on the quote. For a team of six or more, a Sprinter keeps everyone in one vehicle, so nobody has to follow in a rental.
Distance and hours decide most of it. The Phoenix run is about 191 miles each way, so the vehicle and chauffeur are gone most of a day, while a ride within Yuma is over in minutes. Vehicle size, the date, any extra stops and waiting time move the number too. On top of that sits a 20 percent gratuity, which Limo SF VIP calculates on the fare plus stop time, wait time and holiday surcharges; your bill shows it on a separate line.
Arizona law says a vehicle-for-hire company needs a permit from the Arizona Department of Transportation before operating, and ADOT revokes that permit if the company fails to keep its vehicle licensing or insurance in force. The statute also requires a copy of the permit to be kept inside the vehicle. To check a company yourself, ADOT posts a Vehicle for Hire Valid Permit Report on its website, updated every Monday with the currently permitted companies. Rides we arrange in Yuma use vetted local partner operators.
We plan around it. Yuma has recorded 124 degrees, and the Mountain Springs grade on the California side of I-8 drops about 3,000 feet in 11 miles, with canyon winds that have closed the freeway before. When ADOT or Caltrans warns of a closure or high winds before your trip, we call you with the option to roll out sooner. Out on the highway, judging whether a stretch is safe to drive belongs to the chauffeur, and the quote you signed off on sets out what happens with weather and cancellations.
Winter. Between 70,000 and more than 85,000 out-of-state visitors spend the cooler months in Yuma, and lettuce season runs November to March. Arizona Western College also holds commencement in early December and early May. Visit Yuma's events page also lists the Medjool Date Festival and the Colorado River Crossing Balloon Festival, and the Electric Light Parade runs in winter. If your date sits in that stretch, send the request once you know the time and head count, so the partner can hold the right vehicle size.
Yes, and the distances are short. Martha's Gardens, a Medjool date farm at 9747 South Avenue 9 3/4 E with about 8,000 palms, offers farm tours and date shakes, and asks visitors to call ahead before coming out. Pair it with the Territorial Prison on Prison Hill, where inmates were held from 1876 to 1909, and finish with dinner downtown. A Sprinter seats up to 14, and the chauffeur keeps to the times you set for each stop.
Yes, a mini coach or motorcoach is built for that. The park sits at 201 North 4th Avenue on part of the old U.S. Army Quartermaster Depot, set up in 1864 to supply Army posts across the Southwest. From October 1 to May 31 it opens Tuesday through Sunday, with the museum open from 9 in the morning until 4:30. Mini coaches seat 27 to 36 and motorcoaches up to 56, so the whole club rides together from one pickup at your RV park. Send the head count and the departure time.
